How does it work?
As much as we would love to give treatments to those that need and deserve them, but lack the means to acquire them, it isn’t something we can do for purely economic reasons.
For understandable reasons, the NHS are unable to help everyone, especially with musculoskeletal issues in timely manner. This is where the private sector step in, to help those that can afford it. That doesn’t help everyone.
We have created a special gift card that links to our ‘Pay it Forward’ scheme, and this allows us to monitor its usage and the money coming in.
What are the criteria to qualify for a treatment under our ‘Pay it Forward’ scheme?
- Injury that is affecting day to day life, health and wellbeing where the individual is financially restricted.
- On the ‘Elite Sport Pathway’, especially the youth squad, and not in receipt of funding.
- Deserving individuals who are working within the community.
All income will be documented and made available on a quarterly basis, along with the spend and conditions treated. No personal details will be made available of either donors or beneficiaries.
There is no minimum donation and WBIC will discount all treatments by 10% before the value is deducted from the scheme.
