As much as we would love to give the treatments away to those that need and deserve it, it isn’t something that we are able to do for purely economic reasons.

Even After COVID The NHS Will Struggle

One of the things that we’ve been battling with is how can we help those who need it and are struggling to get the help through the NHS.

Even once the NHS are no longer battling with Covid-19 and the horrendous situation that they find themselves in they are going to need to work very hard to catch up on the other surgeries and conditions. For understandable reasons the NHS are unable to help everybody especially with musculo-skeletal issues. Hence the private sector quite often needs to step into the gap. The problem is private treatments are only available to those that can afford it. How can we help those who can’t afford treatment.

But how can we help those people that need help, ensuring that we can do in a viable and responsible way?

The idea that we can do this by using a Pay It Forward scheme,

So How Does ‘Pay It Forward’ work?

This will allow us to monitor the usage and also the money coming in through reports that are available as standard.

But this is going to require administration and how can you be sure that it won’t be open to exploitation and money donated through the scheme will be used properly?

David Hamilton will be administering the pay it forward scheme on behalf of the clinic. He will be responsible for ensuring that the people who are utilising the scheme are eligible. David is an upstanding member of the community and is Chair of the Thatcham RFC.

What is the criteria to qualify for a treatment under the Pay It Forward?

1. Injury that is affecting day to day life, health and wellbeing and the individual is financially restricted.
2. Supporting those people who are on the elite sport pathway and don’t get any funding (Especially Youth).
3. Deserving individuals who are working within the community.

All income will be documented and made available on a quarterly basis along with the spend and the conditions treated. Obviously all personal details will not be provided.

What Help Does The Clinic Need From You?

We do hope that you will participate in this scheme and allow us to help others.

There is no minimum donation and the clinic will discount all treatments by 10%.
